Meningitis Information

Please read the attached Quick Facts about Meningitis.  All students in grades 6-11 are required to have a meningitis vaccination (shot).  Students in grade 12 are required to have a booster shot as well.

January is National Winter Sports TBI Awareness and National Radon Action Month!


National Winter Sports TBI Awareness Month

1.7 million people are affected by TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) each year.  The JohnnyO Foundation has published the following brochure about TBI and concussion.  Please protect your child by ensuring that they have the proper equipment for all sports.

National Radon Action Month

EPA estimates that about 20,000 lung cancer deaths each year in the U.S. are radon-related.  Exposure to radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer after smoking.  Radon is an odorless, tasteless and invisible gas produced by the decay of naturally occurring uranium in soil and water.
